About this dish
Bò lá lốt — seasoned beef wrapped in wild betel leaf and grilled until the leaf chars and releases a peppery, almost smoky perfume you get from nothing else. Served over fine vermicelli with herbs, pickles and plenty of roasted peanut. One of the most distinctive things we cook.
